What Special Skills Does the Chiropractic Neurologist have?
Manipulation should only be performed by someone who has comprehensive training and a through understanding of the patient's history and condition. Chiropractors, among all those who practice physical medicine, are the only ones with a minimum of 4 years of training in spine and joint biomechanics as well as 4 years of spine and joint manipulation techniques.
Most importantly, only the chiropractic neurologist has the additional 3 years training on the complex interactions between the central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. This training has been accredited by N.O.C.A. for competency and quality assurance.
